Happo Pond, one of Hakuba Village’s most breathtaking scenic spots,
sits at an elevation of 2,060 meters. On clear, calm days, the Northern Alps are beautifully reflected on its surface.
To reach the pond, you take the gondola and lifts of Happo-One Ski Resort,
followed by about an hour of trekking. Along the way, you can enjoy majestic views,
and upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a truly enchanting landscape.
Please note: Happo Pond is available only with the [Mountain Hiking Plan].
Because the reflection of the mountains on the pond’s surface requires perfectly calm and clear weather, the chances are limited.
A stay in the area and about an hour of hiking are also necessary.
